Mission Statement

Castor's Rural and Native Housing units exist to provide adequate and appropriate housing for low income families and/or individuals, in a cost effective and efficient manner.

The responsibility of the Castor and District Housing Authority is to offer housing accommodation with full services, intended to be used as a domicile by individuals or families in need of subsidization.

About the Rural and Native Units:

•	Subsidized by the provincial and federal governments
•	Governed by Municipal Board of Directors and Provincial Legislation
•	Has 2 duplexes (4 units)
•	Self contained suites with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, front room, and full basement with lots of storage
•	Rent is based on a percentage of total income

Castor Rural and Native Units Offer:

•	Affordable housing for low income families
•	Spacious and well cared for rental accommodation
•	Fenced in backyard
